Details

Be a part of the first tournament hosted by MudCat Media - Magnolia Madness. Hosted on September 5th, this Fortnite Tournament will be a 3 Round Solo Builds Tournament with a $1,000 prize pool. Advance through the rounds by eliminating opponents, surviving as long as possible and winning the match.

$1,000 Prize Pool:

$250 To The Solo with the Most Points
$100 To The Solo with the Most Kills
$100 to The Solo with the Highest Average Placement (must make Final Round)

Final Points Winners:
1st - $250
2nd - $90
3rd - $80
4th - $70
5th - $60
6th - $50
7th - $40
8th - $30
9th - $20
10th-20th - $10

Limit 1 Prize per Participant. If you are eligible for multiple prizes, you will receive the largest amount of the choices.

Custom Keys will be given out 10 minutes before the tournament starts. We cannot give out codes any sooner to ensure the lobby is stable.

Settings

Tournament Day:
On the day of the tournament, you might be unsure of what to do. Tournament moderators will be there to help, but here is a general overview of what to expect.

Text notifications may be sent to you to remind you of important deadlines of the tournament. Be sure your contact information is up to date in your Your Profile.

Check in for this tournament will begin 60 minutes prior to the start time. Simply visit the tournament details page when check in begins, and click "Check In". If you do not check in before tournament start time, you will not be placed on the bracket.

How to Join a Custom Lobby:
1: Go to Settings>Game>Language and Region>Matchmaking Region> and select NA-EAST. You will get an error if you do not set your region to NA-East
2: Choose "Battle Royal" (not ranked)
3: In the lobby, scroll down again until "Custom Key" shows up. Enter the Custom Key given to you in Discord 10 minutes before tournament start time!!! NO SOONER.
    -Important: Custom Lobby codes will be given out via Discord (click the blue "Discord" button above), OR text message. If you would like to receive the code via text, make sure your contact information is updated in Your Profile.
4: Press "Play" and wait for the match to begin!
5: Repeat for all 3 rounds

How to Join Fortnite Custom Lobbies


Scoring:
1st: 15 Points

If you have any questions during the tournament, you may contact the tournament moderators via Support Tickets in the Discord, or raise a dispute on the website.

Anti-Cheat and Fair Play:
   Game Integrity: Any form of cheating, including but not limited to aimbots, wallhacks, lag switches, or exploiting game mechanics, is strictly prohibited.
   PC Check Protocol: All players must consent to a PC check if requested by tournament officials. Refusal to comply will result in disqualification.
Monitoring:
       Easy Anti-Cheat reporting and anti-cheat system will be used to monitor for suspicious activities.
       Additional Checks by Moderators in-game or post-play will also be used to determine cheating.
   Reporting Cheating: If a team suspects another player of cheating, they may report it through Battlefy or the tournament’s Discord. Evidence (such as video clips) must accompany any reports for further investigation.
   Consequences: Any player found cheating will be permanently banned from the tournament and future MudCat Media Gaming & Esports events.
Code of Conduct
   All players are expected to show respect toward others and demonstrate good sportsmanship. Toxic behavior, harassment, or offensive language in any form will not be tolerated and may lead to disqualification or suspension.

Player Conduct:
Hyperluxe Gaming is committed to ensuring the best possible experience for all of its competitors. All players are expected to display Good Sportsmanship, Respect, and Competitive integrity while participating in this event, or any affiliated events, and while communicating on any official Hyperluxe Gaming platforms.

Any list provided is not exhaustive and is growing. Tournament Administration reserves the right to remove competitors for reasons not outlined below if they feel it is harmful to the quality of the tournament or the Hyperluxe Gaming brand. Additionally, players must adhere to the Fortnite Code of Conduct/TOS as well as Epic Games Code of Conduct/TOS. Failure to do so could result in removal/ban from events.

Tournament Moderators may issue warnings, but warnings are never required. Ban appeals are allowed, but proof must be required to elevate the issue.

Toxicity:
  • Cursing (with harmful intent)
  • Sexism
  • Racism
  • Homophobic/Transphobic remarks
  • Taunting
  • Bullying
  • Lewd/NSFW remarks or posts

    Reminders will be sent to your preferred contact method before the tournament. All players are required to be present at the tournament start time and be ready to enter their matches. Brackets will be available shortly after the tournament start time.

    No-Shows:
    Players have up to 10 minutes after the tournament start time to respond to check in or they will not be added to the game.

    Payouts:
    After winning a tournament, HLX has up to 7 days to disperse tournament winnings. However, payment will usually be sent within 24 hours. HLX covers fees to send payment, but be aware that depending on the amount being sent, you could be paying fees as well. Any  payment related questions should be directed to HLX staff. Failing to claim your prize within 30 days results in forfeiture of prize pool.

    These rules are a general outline of the standard players are expected to maintain at all times during Hyperluxe Gaming events and while communicating on the Hyperluxe Gaming platforms. Moderators reserve the right to interpret these rules how they feel best upholds the Hyperluxe Gaming Community Guidelines, which may vary from the rules listed above. All players have the right to ban appeals, if you would like to appeal a ban, contact the tournament moderator who issued the ban and they will elevate the issue.
